Eat Healing Foods
In order for your body to have the maximum amount of strength to start the healing process, you’ll want to be sure that you’re eating foods that will aid your body in recovery.
Some of the best foods that can help your body heal quicker are things like leafy green vegetables, berries, fish, seeds and nuts, sweet potatoes, eggs, and chicken. So if you can find some of these foods in your kitchen or make some meals involving these types of foods, you’ll be giving your body exactly what it needs to help you feel better.
Prioritize Sleep
Although being injured might make it hard for you to get into a comfortable position, sleeping when you’re injured is one of the best ways to speed your healing.
If you can, try to get at least seven to nine hours of sleep each night when you’re injured. When you’re able to get this amount of sleep, your body produces the right hormones to repair your injured muscles and start growing and stretching in ways that will be the most healing for you. But without getting this amount of sleep, your body won’t be able to get to this point as quickly.
